Who We House

Nga Aratini specialises in housing vulnerable New Zealanders including:

• Rangatahi transitioning out of care or custody

• Whānau affected by homelessness

• Single parents needing housing stability

• Individuals exiting addiction services

• Aging Māori and Pacific peoples requiring Kaumātua housing

• Members of Māori and Pacific communities requiring culturally aligned support

• Tenants with special health needs

These initiatives often involve partnerships between iwi, hapū, local councils, and government, non-government and community agencies.

 How We Operate

Each Nga Aratini community operates under a structured model with:

• dedictaed property managers

• A dedicated whānau support representative

• One-on-one meetings with tenants held in the management office

• Personalised support plans co-developed with each resident

• Triage of needs and coordination of relevant services

• Resident involvement in maintaining communal gardens

• Secure digital reporting systems and annual SOP reviews
